Tasting Notes:
It is perfumed with violets and subtle oak aromas with pepper and red berry flavours on the palate. Soft and fruity on the palate with harmonious tannins. There is a depth and has a ripeness more typical of a St Emilion than Chinon. The maturity and complexity in this wine makes it a serious Loire red of unexpected complexity capable of up to ten years cellaring.

Ideal with chicken, ham, veal, spare-ribs, as well as barbecued meats.

Alcohol: 12.5%
